Have you read the sticky on the forum titled 'Applicants, Read Before You Apply?'
Yes, I have

What is your current age (Suggested minimum age is 18)?
28

What is your total played time on this character (type /played)?
174 days

Do you have ventrillo and the ability to talk?
Yes I do. As one of the raid leaders of Arctic Wrath, I was very adept at calling out warnings on vent which required me to pay attention to the entire event and also dps to the best of my ability.

What role and spec do you want to fill with Requiem's raids?
As a lock, my sole role would be DPS. I would be willing to fulfill either a pure dps role where I strive for high personal dps on the encounters, or a rDPS role with a demonology spec to boost the raid.

Post your link from the armory, explain any discrepancies currently showing(i.e. are you a pvp spec? pvp gear? Waiting on a certain enchant or gem, etc...)

I could be in PVP gear, if I am here is a warcrafter link: http://www.warcrafter.net/sandbox/149017

My talent builds are almost purely PVE, with a couple talents moved around to try to help with Arenas and BGs that I've been doing while not raiding.

What is your character's guild history and the reason for leaving prior guilds?
For all of my time on Drenden, I was in an officer and raid leader in Arctic Wrath (alliance). We cleared up to Felmyst prior to 3.0 and the raid nerfs.

In WoTLK, we cleared the main 3.0 content, but the guild fell apart right after Ulduar was released. It was a combination of internal guild discontent, lack of focus, and little progress; and a RL friend and officer of the guild having a WoW affair that I and other friends tried to derail.

If a Requiem member has asked you to submit this application, tell us who?
Left Blank

Any friends in Requiem?
No

What made you decide to apply to Requiem at this time?
The guild charter and goals of Requiem are similar to what we strived for in Arctic Wrath. I want to raid with smart and quality players who can progress and have fun.

What kind of raid experience do you have? Vanilla, TBC, or Wrath; list all that you think are applicable.
Vanilla: MC, Ony, ZG, BWL, and some AQ20/40.
BC: Saw all content minus the KJ fight.
WoTLK: Naxx, OS+3, Malygos. I've done ToC10 and Ony 25.

Our raid schedule is Tuesday and Thursday 10-1 and Sunday 9-1, can you make a minimum of 75% of these raids?
yes, the schedule is very fitting for me.

Post a recent WWS (or equivalent) from a raid you participated in. Feel free to explain any mitigating circumstances on the log (lack of buffs/blessings/etc...)
I'm working on recording some current fights.
here is an unsuccessful Ony 25: http://www.wowmeteronline.com//combat/log/1093469

here is some older fight from Pre-3.1
Naxx: http://www.wowmeteronline.com//combat/log/550705
OS3D & Malygos: http://www.wowmeteronline.com//combat/log/568486

I can link more if you'd like.

What is one thing you are currently working on to make you perform better in a raid environment?
(Gear is something EVERYONE is working on, please do not say you need gear)

I have not raided hardcore since 3.1 came out. I need to catch up on current warlock specs and maximizing my dps. As well as learning the raids and boss fights.

Are you a douchebag? If yes, please hold the alt key and hit F4 for a 'special' message before completing this application.

If asked to respond to this application you will need to create an account on this website with your applying character's name and request that account to be authorized with the rank of applicant, do you understand this process (we've had some issues)?
Account already created.

Tell us about yourself? If you happen to be a faction transfer this would be the place to elaborate.
To me, the PVE content and defeating the bosses is best part of the game. The hard mode achievements are goals that I want to accomplish and not be some "average raider".

I know how to do my homework on encounters and always come prepared.

Very well put together app...not sure atm on are Lock placement in raiding..rather sure we have 3 if not 4 very good Locks..(pun intended) Locked and Ready to roll on raid nights..just would like to throw my 2 cents in stating a very nice put together app.

You Can Be Dead Broke And Be A Scholar Still
This is the best application we have received for quite some time.

I have been on vacation and haven't been in game for almost 12 days so unless something has changed with the raid team I do not see us as having room for another warlock.

I will talk to the fellas in game and give you an answer shortly.

SKILL > GEAR, But those with skill will be smart enough to have gear.
Thank you for the update.

I'm grabbing badge gear as I can acquire it, not a whole lot of pugs for 10's when I'm on it seems unfortunately.

I'd also like to add that on fights that have some sort of gimmick, I learn very quickly (given the obligatory "see it for the first time"). Two great examples from BC are Archimonde and Gorefiend. I did not crater nor would I loop a fire, and I would always kill my ghosts with time to spare so that I could assist others.
From WoTLK, vehicle fights are no problem, such as Malygos P3. I could easily move to get out of the Surge of Power but at the same time stay with the group and within healing range. I understood the combo point and energy management to do the 1-1-2 rotation and eventually 1-2 to get the Flame stack as high as possible without it dropping off.

Again, thank you and if you have any questions, I will eagerly answer them.
Sorry for the delay. It looks like a spot opened up for a lock and if you're still interested we'd be happy to have you. Get in touch with Issues, Shadow, myself, or any officer.
